    34th Annual Wooden Boat Festival

    Beaufort, NC - May 3, 2008.

    Skip climbed the masts at first light to dress ship with the following message;

    "Happy 78 Birthday Schooner MISTRESS - Thank you Beaufort North Carolina Maritime Museum". 

    The kids had great fun using the key to decipher the message and won bubbles, stars, and a chance to get that old 1905 fog horn blowing.  What a great time.
