Schooner MISTRESS

Skip and I have been together for over forteen years.  On our first anniversary we discussed our life ambitions, dreams, and desires.  This is when I learned Skip's dream was to sail around the world.  I asked him what it would take and we discussed how  we would accomplish such a goal.  We planned for ten years to find, rebuild, and launch the kind of Schooner we hoped for.  She would be a wooden boat with history, sleek lines, and the ability to look good and go fast.  Additionally, she needed to be strong enough to sail the southern ocean.
